There was magic last night, although not in abundance. The Stones usually play between 20 and 22 numbers, with two reserved for Keith in the middle of the show. For decades they usually performed a dozen crowd-pleasers with half a dozen or so less prominent numbers thrown in for the more critical fans (like me). Play With Fire. Monkey Man. Factory Girl. Hand of Fate. Etc, etc.
This time, only Sweet Virginia, Dead Flowers, and She's A Rainbow. Every other piece on the set-list was mega-hit.
What I wouldn't give to have heard more oddities. Unfortunately, we were treated to more . . .

And yes, that three or so ounces of Peroni in a glass was mine. She Who Must Be Obeyed graciously ordered a bottle of beer instead of wine just so that I could have a sip.
