Omega

Hi folks, I just purchased this Omega with Cal 265 and a large 37.5 mm case, I know the dial is repainted but the case is what I question. It doesn't have a reference number and the Omega logo stamp looks a little crude, I compared it to a few other logo'...  

Hi Jim, the total absence of any number in the case back is uncommon indeed... There should be either a reference number (usually 4 or 5 digits on early Omegas) or  (more often) a case serial number. I am a bit concerned too. But what I do not understand:... 

Yes I admit this is my fault for not checking the details but I found this watch after a long day of shopping at a Huge outdoor Antique show in Brimfield Ma., We had already been walking and hunting for over 10 hours, we were tired and checking out one la... 

But don't count the case, buy the movement only. I bought one like that and I paid for the price of the movement . The case is a bonus. Here it is. Sharp edges with no crown tube Faked engraving compares to authentic Omega stamping....  

Thanks for the suggestion, while you might of paid little for your watch, I'm not prepared to keep this for the movement at the price which I paid for the watch. I'll be returning it tomorrow, actually this is a wonderful excuse to hit the fields again, t... 

Hi all. I also have a 283 in a French case (no ref #). I'd like to know if Omega shipped the movements to France and cased there by "T.K Co" ?? Here are the pics. Best regards. Hoi....
