I am just a snorkeler at best and as such was confined to what was available within walking/swimming distance from the beach. One day, Kari, you must, if you have the time and if it is not too far from your location. It took me only four hours by plane. B... 

it must be totally 8-10 hours flight. Austrian Airlines is flying from Vienna and from here it's around 2.5 hours to the central Europe. I have many DM and Instructor colleagues who have been diving in Maldives. They all say that it is stunning and diving... 

Nothing is better than that, of course. Regarding camera, as I am not a real diver, I did not invest in a proper housing for my DSLR and chose instead to buy an affordable water resistant camera from Panasonic. My first water resistant camera ever, it pro...  

. . . but also the ambiance of the place. Thru your lens, the Maldives seems the most serene place on Earth. So serene, perhaps, that the services of the Planet Ocean might have been superfluous. Who would want to know precisely what time it was while on ...
