....sounds like this is a split grain cordovan. Will be interested to see how it holds up versus the usual top grain cordovans you've got.

I like to fiddle with straps as well, and this one gives the railmaster a nice look. I am still keeping my eye out for a small sized modern railmaster at a good price on the secondary market - they aren't made anymore AFAIK. Now off to see the grandbaby i...

That strap adds a sporty casual dimension to the Railmaster which is why IMO it is so versatile. I would love something like that which fits in to the OEM clasp for my RM XXL. Unfortunately the 24mm to 19mm dimensions mean it would have to be custom made....

I must say that is a very unique strap and gives the Omega a very nice and unusual look....I like it!
