Great background on Apollo 8
Like you, I believe Apollo 8 was a great achievement for the space program and a very risky mission. They had no life boat (LEM) like Apollo 13 had. Those three astronauts were brave explorers!
Does anyone know what the 19th jewel on caliber 1869 is for? I’m curious.
