Omega

Dear all, I permit myself to post here to have some information on 2 Omega I just received. I have absolutely no information on them and can't find. If you can help me in giving me some clues so that I can know them a little bit more, I'll be very happy !...  

Hi Fabrice Welcome to the forum... Your first watch is a uncommon "Jumbo" sized 30T2 manual wind wrist watch. I am guessing it is about 38 mm in diameter not counting lugs or crown. Omega did not make too many in the larger sizes... Very nice.. Your secon...

Hi On the large round manual wind watch, what movement did the AD tell you it had ? I saving the ladies watch from the gold scrap melt.... do you have someone that will wear it ? Looking forward to seeing more of your photos.. Good Hunting Bill sohne

Hello Bob Here are the pictures from inside ! The round one The woman Omega.. I do not know if the owner will choose to melt it or not. and the prices given from the AD are not very high. What's your verdict, doc' ? Thanks again, I'm very sensitive to you...  

Caliber 483 for the woman watch and caliber 266 for the man Omega

Hi jaeger92 Your round watch does have a 30t series movement.. Omega went to a 3 digit caliber reference in 1949. Your 266 is from the 30t series of movements that one is a keeper... I tink the melt value of the other is about what the watch is worth. Unl... 

I have a good bird-eye-view on these watches thanks to you. I'll bring the 266 caliber for a service in Bienna (including the dial I think) and the golden one will be sold in an auction sales I guess.. or melt.. poor end for a mechanical watch
