Omega

I'm contemplating a new Omega purchase and wondered what everyone's opinion would be....James Bond...Quantum of Solice etc, America's Cup, 50th Anniversary GMT? Any suggestions would be helpful. Trying to keep the cost at around $2k but maybe a little mor... 

I do like the James Bond series among the LE's of Omega, but not the rest. In my opinion, too gimicky in nature but that's just my honest opinion. In which case, the Casino Royale Seamaster with the Gun Barrel Spiral is nice. It'll cost 2k in pounds for a...

you'd do far better to buy the standard watch as ltd editions for personalities can go out of favour as the person does. same goes for James Bond. the Snoopy is IMO just another way of boosting the sales of handwind speedmasters. put a new caseback on and...

actually i have to partially agree with you over the Alaska project. the actual watch itself is so different from the standard moonwatch that i like it. the white dial, the rocket hands on subdials. i'd rather have the original prototype from the 70's tho...
