I am in complete agreement with you on the 'bang for the buck'....
assessment of Omega as a watchmaker overall. What I've personally experienced, and love about them most, is the feeling that for several thousand dollars (yes, that's still an expensive timepiece) you get a level of quality easily comparable to what other manufacturers charge tens of thousands for.... As an overall brand of value, perhaps only Seiko plays in the same league as Omega........
