I feel your pain regarding the lack of quick-set date function.

Omega called it timezone function or something but lately they changed to a less misleading name which I fail to remember. Their reasoning for this function is that it is great for frequent travelers as you can set the hour hand backward past midnight and the date will go back one day accordingly. And as you experience with your watch, the minute and the second hands do not stop when setting the hour hand.

I would welcome this feature if I were a pilot or a business traveler like George Clooney in that movie "Up in the Air". But the fact is that I am not and it is a pain every time I have to set the watch after putting it aside for like two weeks.

The pin system on bracelet does not worry me. I find the four corners of the Ploprof clasp to be very sharp though. I had to take the watch off when I cradled my puppies in my arms. The same should be true for babies but I don't plan to have one so okay for me. More money for the watches! :P
