i really like the planet ocean.
I think it is as near as they could get to a re edition of the seamaster 300. Similar case shape, similar bezel, similar hands to the first model, top quality auto movement for the period and perfectly fit for purpose.
I'm not sure i'd buy one as i dont buy new watches very often, but never say never and if i did it would be the orange bezel model so that it stands out from the crowd.
Does the si14 mean it has a silicon balance ?

I bought it a few months back at the local Omega Boutique. It has displaced so many other wonderful watches from my wrist. It is big, but very comfortable. The 8500 caliber with the Silicon balance is phenomenal...makes chronometer standards look sloppy l...
