Amazing that 2 years have passed!
To his credit, I can't think of any other watch forum participant who has left such a legacy. Never a watch industry shill or self-aggrandizing personality(well, he did have a few opinions ), Chuck was one of the good guys who really took the time to learn and then help educate everyone in our hobby.
I had a few forum conversations with him and always respected the knowledge he brought to the table. His reference material thankfully lives on and I still refer to it.
BTW, I am the current owner of the Mark II, purchased from Dr. No, right after we first met.
