(communist economics that was......), wore an old glashuette watch ( no, not the flieger chrono), watched west german television; listened to AFN in west berlin; played in a band; watched the moon landing, yes; had a very good time without any worries; no Aids; no taboos; vibrant times with plenty of girls and friends and had no idea, that i would escape east germany the following year..... and buy my first speedmaster 1980 in melbourne, australia. it was a very exiting time and i´m glad, that i lived it. kind regards from down under. achim
