I must second Ben and Franco!

There is no such correlation between chronometer inscriptions on the movement and the wording "chronometre" on the dial!  I have several of them, all mixed with and without movement markings, but always "chronometre" on the dial.

The only exception may be the early SS screw back chronometers which were delivered with chronometer rated AND lesser finished movements in the same case reference, e.g. ref 2254 and there is a cross ref. of ref. 2410 when I remember correctly.

It is quite simple: I seriously doubt the originality of the "plain" dials - most probably they are replacements for rotten original dials...
