. . . that were based on the chronometer contest winning Omega movements, which in turn were refinements of the 30T2 / 30T2SC. Balance, regulator, wheels, even the click, were all finished to a higher standard, or altogether different.
I'm not sure how many non-chronometer 30 mm manual winding movements were produced - the number would be in the millions, including the 26x/28x. Total rg production was reputedly in the 20K range according to Bill Sohne, with most produced between '46 and '48. They were reportedly produced until the late '50s, but I've only seen a single photo of one manufactured any later than the very early '50s.
The basic 30T2 is a phenomenal movement capable of producing outstanding timing results, and fortunately for collectors, most parts are still available today. Here's my earliest iteration, a ref 2099 cal 30 . . .
