Omega

Let me say it this way, I would not spend my Money on that watch.

Hi Evgeny131

There are few things that raise concern.

1) From your pics of the Connie the caseback appears to be steel with a gold front ? I have not seen that before on a Connie ( I have seen Seamaster cases like this). It could be a lighting issue of the photo .

2) Your comment that the movement is 17j also does not sound correct for a Connie that is a certified Chronometer ( It should have a 24 j movement most likely a 551 or maybe a caliber 711, 712 ). Omega did make some Connies in the 1970s that are not chronometers that might use a 17 j movement. The use of 17j movements in this time period was specific for the US market ( less duty on 17j movements in comparison to 24j movements). The only Omega that did get 24j movements was Omega high end lines like the Connies and Chronometer Seamasters for the US market.

3) The caseback should not have the Seamaster Logo...

As I stated in the subject line.. I would not spend my money on that watch. Please take that for what it is. The watch raises too many questions so I would pass.

Good Hunting
