Omega

Nice find!

The f32 kHz Megaquartz was Omega's first in-house analog quartz movement from the 70s, and was an expensive watch in the day. They were known to be very accurate, and the modular design of the movement was for the easy replacement of parts. As someone else said, "a cacophony of micro technology - mixed brass main plates and gears and cogs working in union to drive the hands".

I love the case/bezel designs fro these 70s era Omegas, and this is the same they used in the automatic versions.
I recently picked up an 1969 f300 and love that watch! The hummers aren't for the squeamish, but if you get a good one dialed in, it will run accurately a long time.
