Omega created the Genève line in the early '50s . . .
. . . as a middle-ground between the higher-priced Constellation and lower-priced entry level models.
Other than my ref 137.001, there were no chronometer-grade Genèves. That's partly why they're not as sought by collectors. But other than the movement, they're built to the same standard as Constellations.
If you're able to source a correct seconds, please share your restored heirloom with us again. Nothing pleases me more than seeing an Omega brought back to its former glory.
