attached is a pic which I came across on the omegaforums site, posted by another RM buyer, which is good for comparison.
Indeed, the ttg1958 at 38.5mm seems more than 0.5mm larger than the RM. TTG has a smaller bezel, also accentuating the dial face size difference, regardless of one's opinion of what white or black does to one's perception.
Additionally, the top to bottom lug to lug distance is appreciably longer on the RM, which the pic shows well, which also gives a different profile in total.
I guess the take home message is despite similar numbers on paper, once again we see how different watches may wear on the wrist... Neither good nor bad, just different. One must be happy with a watch on it's own merits. Comparing apples and oranges doesn't contribute to the satisfaction of either...

Long time no post my watch friends. Been busy at work, but I've never stopped reading posts. My 60th Anniversary Railmaster finally arrived yesterday (a day late, thanks UPS). First impressions are very positive even though it seems smaller than my JLC TT...
