Expensive jewelry watch at the time that sold, I believe, for around USD 1500 in 1973. These models were part of the Omega effort to go upmarket in the light of Quartz and throwaway supermarket watches and a savage attack on its traditional markets.
They were powered by calibre 625
You'd need to open the case to see the reference number on the inner caseback and then you would be able to confirm the details of the watch through the Omega database . Looks like a 711.1688. Very difficult to ascertain who designed it although
a case makers mark will appear on the inner caseback which can be researched.
Omega is very funny about its designers, or the designers that were used by casemakers. Its part of the Swiss tradition to obscure almost any contribution to finished watches apart from the movement designer.
