I was able to borrow this watch from a watch dealer that I know pretty well. What a great time piece, and so hard to get out of my head.. The dial is really amazing... not as dark / sober as on the Omega press photos. The case back engraving is also done ...  

i'm desperate for my knee to get better so i can drive to an AD to look at one in the flesh. i'm normally very cynical about Omega's ltd editions, but this one is a bit special with its unique dial. get yourself out there and buy one then show us the wris...

hi Ruckdee, i dont want to take up space on the forum on non watchy things so to cut a long story short someone decided it was a good idea to slam my car door while i was still trying to get in. being a Merc the door is heavy and the inner corner contacte... 

...sounds serious enough. And the subsequent description only confirmed the gravity of the accident. I hope the doc will find a relieving solution for you this August 5th. I broke one of my hands before in a motor accident so I can relate to your experien... 

Sorry to hear about your knee. Chondromalacia patella can be a very painful condition and I hope it gets sorted out alright. I think I can take a guess as to who that "someone" was. Regards, Richard.

I must admit a certain weakness for this one... The Meteorite dial is really attractive. It adds a bit of Mystery to this watch. I may fail... Best, Nicolas

...is the Speedy Meteorite the nicest limited edition Omega Speedmaster made for years. I have been more than considering it, but I am (thanks to some of you guys...!!!!) a little to heavy into vintage stuff at the moment. So I will probably pass this one...
