So now I’m a little jealous…
I have the planet ocean Chrono 9300 movement. The 300 m version is slightly thinner with a 9900 movement the only discernible difference between the two is 1000 feet of water resistance. This was an interesting marketing move by omega… Much like putting a GTR engine into a 370z chassis. It’s hard not to feel a little jealous and perhaps a little cheated? Any thoughts about whether this signifies a new direction and what that direction might be?
I'm no expert, but it seems like a quite thick movement with a lot of features. I wonder how omega escapements really are now.

That’s a good point, I had the original PO
And that movement was not that thick, I then switched to the 8500 PO and that was noticeably thicker. The 9000 series is a chrono and even thicker....
