Thanks Bill. Sorry about that,...
Thanks Bill.
Sorry about that, but just used the pics that the seller
had used in their eBay post. However, I think "transparency" seems to be
one of the watch words (no pun intended) of the day! If someone wants to
put their name on a photo of a product that is not being honestly represented,
then they should have to face the music! I also think one of the great
values of sites like yours are that they create a level of "accountability"
for people dealing in this market. I also have a replica Shelby 427 Cobra
and the guys on that site are brutal. As such, not too many people trying
to BS their way through selling something. My 2
cents.......
Had the watch looked at by my local watch guru, and he said
the same, but also said the movement was in good shape, had been serviced and
that having hands and band replaced on a 40 year old watch wouldn't be
unusual.
Any ideas on good sources for correct hands and band and do
you think it's worth doing that change?
BTW, have been pouring over the site and appreciate all the
info and effort you put into it!
Thanks!
Scott

Hi Weirhouse Welcome to the forum !! I normally would not dress down someones watch .and the fact the sellers name appears in the photos does not help matters. I will comment this time but for future references if someone wants to evaluate a watch please ...
