I very much like the SM 300, but like Graham I am more fond of the older references. The hand design in the current SM is very much a matter of taste!

I've been wearing mine for eleven years already.
Routine seal replacements only. I have never had it overhauled yet. No real good reason to do it so far as the watch outperforms all my more expensive watches in terms of accuracy. It is deadly accurate at +1 second/day in most positions. I'm sure you are...
I think it's one of the classic modern Omegas
That hue of blue was just right, combined with the wave texture of the dial - the watch just looks fantastic in person. Shame they discontinued it.
