My wife and I run a marketing consultancy for luxury beauty and lifestyle so this is not a new discussion the devil is in the details…again would Rolex do this?…I think if this were a “kids” watch it would be a little easier to swallow but I do think you run very close to the denigration line and start to trivialize the real moonwatch (having to even say “real” is IMO not a good thing) when you produce a swatch that looks this close to the original…

I am an Omega enthusiast and in a way I think it cheapens the brand…not the end of the world but…..WHY?
Why? The answer is simple. Omega is sowing the field . . .
. . . for a future crop of Professional owners. A shopkeeper in Malaysia who can't afford a Speedy Pro now gets a Speedy Swatch which whets his appetite for the real deal down the road. A brilliant bit of marketing, if I may say so.

doesn't see an issue here. Had an 'OG' SM, will have one again. Will also have, unless they sell them all out, a couple of these pretty quartz 'pretenders'. Nothing potentially negative to my mind, an inexpensive quartz watch in no objective manner compet...

They’re not answering the calls. Really want the Uranus and Earth edition. I asked my sister to call, as she too wants a few of them. I believe queues will form outside the swatch stores for this. Wow this is revolutionary.
