AP certainly makes a beauty. The GP is OK too. But this one has a sort of sensual quality to the openworking, and on the wrist I like it most. Congratulations!!

I’d handled one in 2023 and I thought it was nice. Was there any other watch in the running with this one? And if so, what tipped you over the edge on this?

I didn’t want to service a complex chronograph. I always liked Guido T.’s designs for elegance; we both had his Octo Finissmo line. As I wear the watch, I can appreciate the understated elegance, it’s quite beautifully decorated but you really don’t notic... 

Preowned is the way to go with PF given the hefty depreciation. You can get amazing pieces for very good prices!

I hope to see you as a part of the Parmigiani family soon, with only a couple of thousand made a year, they are very unique and rare,😉
