I wonder if it will get much more than that if auctioned in the future, given older Pateks are the record holders of auctions

But I feel there is much more in it. Imagine the wide-open doors by the Patek CEO for those "important" (LOL) clientele...Those that support the company market.. All in all, the buyer feels/knows that on avg, it will be within market prices given the fact...
Goes to charity, so it's whatever amount someone wants to write-off.
We also need to remember that the headlines are worth million$, so am sure PP bids high.
