A warranty issue it seems

I happen to own precisely the same Aquanaut model. I was careless (I suppose) and took it sailing and swimming in the Med early June 2012 with the crown not closed sufficiently tight. Moisture penetrated into the watch and it had to be serviced by an authorised PP dealer. The AD called me back soon after and told me they would also like to change the dial (under warranty) while they had the watch in the workshop. This took me by surpsise as I had not even noticed there was something wrong with it. As there is a 4 weeks wait for the new dial I am still waiting for the watch to come back.

I bought this beauty in the late 1990's. I love how the dial is starting to form patina. notice the difference between the markers & the date wheel.

The best patina is from use...do you wear this much? It looks unused. Is it just more rugged than I realized or is this a collection piece?

it recently had a factory service. everything but the dial was serviced.
