Hello, I can assure you that a 5711 would be a great everyday watch. I have been wearing the 5712 for 3 months and it has been a pleasure to wear and so comfy. The shiny links do not scratch like my Daytona does and the watch still looks great (like new) . I have a small wrist and it fits so well I just don't want to wear another one of my watches. They are both nice watches so Good luck with your decision !!
