A couple of years ago I was in a similar predicament. I had just gotten a couple of nice watches and the 5040 R I was waiting for came in. In the end I went for it as I decided that this was too special to pass up. I have never regretted it as every time I wear it I fall more in love with it! To my eyes there is a very unique, delicate beauty that this model offers, much because the shape of it. Like everyone here will advise you, when buying this type of watch, it has to speak to YOU...but all I can tell you from experience is that mine sings a most lovely tune to me.
