Patek 3712/1a
Hi,
I have the opportunity of acquiring the 3712 steel nautilus with moon phase and power reserve and date. It was purchased in 2005 and since has been kept in like new condition. Iam a big fan of nautilus and have the 3710 and the 5726. Can anyone suggest that is it worth paying extra to get this one or just stay put. I mean to ask in terms of collectibility and also the appreciation down the road.

you know the real answer if it is worth it or not... At the end of the day, it is not how much you paid for it but how much enjoyment you get by wearing it... If you do, then it is worth it... Good luck Cheers
If in doubt....

Dont do it - thats The rule I use, and more often than not, that turns out right! I understand your dilemma, As I have been there several times. Dont do it for the investment (for several reasons), do it, because you cant help it! Christian
