Patek Philippe

The Ellipse has an unusual shape. It does not follow the

usual look of a classic watch with lugs.  It does not have a round or a square or a rectangular dial, strictly speaking.  It looks like a dress watch reduced to its most basic form.

I love the Calatrave and feel that it is the finest example of a wrist watch that was ever made.  It is elegant, simple, dignified, beautiful, functional and manages to look  very classy without looking flashy in the least.

But I am begining to like the Ellipse with many of the same attributes but in a different shape.
