What a major coincidence that TWO very limited salmon dial 3940G to be present at the same place!! How does that dial compare with the current production 5270P? Color?
Great to have the twins in different attires, black vs brown straps ! Which one is yours and how do you like the overall look of the other strap on the salmon dial ?
Does anyone with the 3940 salmon dial also have a 5270P? I wonder if the dials are using the same dial color/material? Or different type of dial? Just same color?
Take a look at the following thread on this same reference: There may be upwards of over 25 made. But, definitely more than the 5 most people think . I believe the 5 salmon dials most known are the 5070G seen here: www.watchprosite.com
Is more than 7....most serious collectors that have these pieces dont post and they buried deep in collections...I didnt have prior purchase history on the sourcing and that implies that better collectors would have had no problem getting one
