I bought one in the Paris boutique in January. They had one and told me they weren't expecting more. I wore until almost every day for six months and it kept perfect time, better than any other Patek or other brand I own. So the movement seems more than accurate. I recently stopped by at the Tiffany Patek Salon in NYC and was told that the "problem" with the watch is that the brushed dial is extremely hard and time consuming to make and Patek seem to be focusing in other areas as a result. That's what I heard. Dont know how accurate but figure I would share.

A dealer friend told me in passing that this reference had been recently pronounced dead...is it really so?? It looks lovely to me...
"Dead" as in the production or the sales side?
personally, I was told by boutique manager they are going to temperory stop the production due to some technical issues. This is not a sales talk trying to close a sales with me since I already own 5235 for a year now. Nice pic btw! .. Best regards, Jen

several references are not to be produced next year
but that doesn't say they will not in 2017. Maybe just rebalancing and company focus elsewhere. They are in the process of building a facility which is daunting for anybody.
