I am looking to purchase a 5296 Rose gold with sector dial , but I noticed that the hands are some what shorter than the plain dial version. Would anyone please give me advice whether to buy the sector dial vs. plain dial? Thank you so much. Van

The hands are shorter on the sector dial version but this never casues any issues with reading the time. I went for the sector dialled 5296r and have never had to do a 'double take' to read the time. The shorter hands actually work very well with the hour...

Both are very nice but I would go for the sector without hesitation. Especially now that there is starting to be a trend to more classic styles. The sector has a modern interpretation of a vintage look that I think with age very well over time and always ... 

Yes indeed. Well stated. Still wondering why the sector is still in production, it's a model that not should be kept too long in the running collection... On the other hand, I don't think many are sold... Too simple for the guys with money, too out of the...
