Call me crazy but...
... I think this my favorite Patek dress watch. Ever. Perfect size and proportions, useful complications, lovely hands. beautiful case, and the raised Roman numerals give it a unique look.
If I didn't already have a dress watch and wasn't trying to keep my collection small, this would be my choice. The only problem is determining which metal to get it in as they all look great.
A 5035 at work

in my opinion, this watch actually suits you better compared to the 5712 which you showed us yesterday on a separate post. Perhaps it is strap that matches your shirt but I think it is not just that. However, if you feel that you are more drawn to the 571...
5035 is a great watch with a lot of historical significance...
The point is I want a sport watch (I also have a 5110 and a Lange Saxonia 35mm). My other option is to find a good condition PP 3800 (smaller and cheaper) then I could keep the 5035. But I may still want the 5712 eventually...

If you want a sports watch and no mater what you buy, the 5712 is still your ultimate objective, then, it is a no brainer - buy the 5712! I know it is nice to see what others think and hoping for their seal of approval but the truth is the watch is a litt...

This is about personal taste. And everyone's perception of taste is different. Go for dream.
My personal subjective opinion...
....why buy a Nautlius, like everyone else? Your 5035 is nice, keep it and soon you will appreciate your decision. Dont follow the herd.
