date of Calatrava crowns

Hi all,

I am new on this website but have been colecting watches for about 25 years. A friend of mine and I have done a long time research (watching)
on PPs and we have come to the following results: the so called Calatrava crown (with the cross) was introduced at different times,
depending on the kind of watch:

With regular "round movement watches" it starts earlier with 1954/55 (up to today)

On chronographs it starts a little later, about 1959/60

On watches with the Cal. 9´´´- 90 it is the same, about 1959/60

a replacemeny crown? I've never seen a Calatrava cross on a crown on a watch from the 50's. Regards, Ron

Hi, I have no clue.... I have seen crowns without a symbol, crowns with the two p's and crowns with the calatrava cross. Recently, I saw a ref 2525 from 1954 with a calatrava cross crown. Would be nice to have some info on the crowns though. Anyone ? best...
