Does an "extract" show the name of the first owner?
One other thought/question: I believe if the watch has been around for 5 years of more, you can request an extract from the archives. Do these also show the first owner?
I'm just trying to figure out if spending the extra on a NEW from AD (a few thousand dollars) makes sense vs. one that is only a year old from an AD, not even sized but possibly (I'm checking now) having a name in the COO -- but most likely is not registered with PP.
I'm planning on keeping the watch and passing it down -- so part of me thinks the few extra $$$ is worth it. The other part wonders if it really matters.
thanks so much!
