Funny how different it looks...
Mine is the same watch but produced some 15 years later. Small changes make the dial to look very different.

As you can see here the Reference # is just "3940". Down in the bottom half it say "Boitier/Case: or jaune" which translates to "yellow gold". There is no reference to the letter "J". Is this unusual? ...
