I cannot make my mind up about the World Time Chronograph. I cannot see how the two combinations are related and the logic behind it.
I like the new World Time. I just hope PP being the global brand that it is would find an ingenius way to include a few key countries that fall in half or quarter time zones, such as India. Not all 37 like VC, but maybe a few.
For example the Andergen Geneva World Time does have a half time zone feature for India.

Like the hands and numerals a lot...but how the date window cutout was placed/constructed bugs me a little. Would like to see it in person to make a more informed opinion!

The 5230g is a very handsome watch. A good heir to the 5130.

.....i look at that 5396 and i see it borrows so heavily from the 3448. And that is a VERY good thing.
I would say the Annual C. Pateks took after the 1930's-40's Perp. Calendars in general
The link I would see between the 3448 and the 2016 novelties is the 5230's bezel which is very angled. But, yes, I think it is a really good thing too Cheers, Mark
Yes.....its the bezel that i am referring to rather than dial.....
......but that is what characterises that 3448 and made it so iconic..... Its back to the 70s.
good observation: the angled bezel of the 5230 and the 5930
