Given the current demand for sporty watches and other rumors about PP’s future, I would expect that they expand further their Nautilus and Aquanaut lines. As regards Nautilus, I don’t think we will see anything more complicated than an PC. So what is left...
We should see a new Calatrava line. Would we see a new chrono with the 5170P out?they may skip a year...5230P was due last year so we should get that this year. New Nautilus models, then yes, a WT a la 5164 would be great....
..though 2019 might be a tad too early, given how lukewarm the R and G versions are still being received. I'm much less positive that we'll ever see a WT for the Nautilus line, though again this is anybody's guess... The 5231 is in order; I bet quite a lo...
While many would love a 5170a as well as a new steel Calatrava I hope they save this for something limited and special. Otherwise the steel idea gets a bit watered out in my opinion.... even though I would love to see it released at some point!
Here are some of mine... not too far off the beaten path for the most part: - 5990/1A white dial - 57212/1R brown dial - 5960/1R - 5204G blue dial - 5968R brown dial - 5370R creme enamel dial - 5205P -!5741/1G - new manual chrono reference to replace 5170...
Here’s my 2c worth With the 5960A gone and was not a great success while it existed and no more full steel AC 5726A I recon pp will put the 5960 movement into a nautilus and then u see it fly. I agree on a aquanaut AC also. 5230P yes maybe 5231 I don’t th...
Your face on a 5231... ! Perhaps they will start accepting photo scans and you can design your own enamel dials think I know what the keks version would look like
thats too much of a dream isn't it ! might be a new manual wind movement for the 5196 calatrava suitable to the case - i think it is a long pending one. Best, mahesh.,
Any speculation about the 5320 ? Right now it is available as a “G” only. The watch may not be popular enough to merit any other versions. I however am very intrigued. Thoughts? comments? I “Kinda” like this watch. Have not been able to pull the trigger y...
Always nice to dream a little. And hoping PP reads our forum too ;-) With the models you mentioned I think I have almost the same expectations. But maybe: 5990R? or Blue dial 5990A? 5712R/001? New 5170 line. I own this piece, love it. But the case is poss...
5740R, 5726R, a new hobnail Calatrava (perhaps a 38mm with a 324), a ladies diamond bezel version of 7118, ladies 7118R on a strap, 5231, 5968R, 5320R. I would love to see a sector dial 5170P but I highly doubt it. Less than 3 week left to wait!
5990/1A with khaki/sand dial 5164T with semi skeletonized dial and movement details finished in dark gray tones 5170A with green enamel dial A steel Calatrava with new in-house manual movement and no date, just three hands and central seconds.... like a m...
But the 5164 would be the perfect reference for this. An all purpose active traveller watch.... please make one, if even just a prototype for me and I will wear it permanently for a long time...
A while ago I wrote this post, and even after that I could never find any information to contradict my small "research": But you're right in the sense that, ironically, it would be "easier" to get Patek to produce a bespoke titanium piece for yourself, r...
It was a few weeks before the last Only Watch auction, he smiled and told me there was a T for me if I wanted one AND I would also benefit a good cause... told him I wanted one that I could swim with... perhaps next time then Think you are right the T wil...
According to what I found a while ago, Patek did already produce a T piece for a special collector, some 15 to 20 years ago...In fact, they produced as many as five for the same person! I’m just afraid he was in a different league than me as a collector, ...
5231 and if so, whether the motif will be different than 5131. I hope it will be a different dial but struggle to think what else can be made. The suspense is too much to take ! LOL !!
I believe they can’t and won’t release regular round classics in steel What I would hope for is slightly more casual offerings of classics. 1. Brushed white gold 2. Thicker lugs (drilled lugs!) 3. Blue seconds hand 4. Octagon screw back case 5. Subseconds...
5296 must be as bread and butter as it gets and has to be the highest production non sports. It’s got to be a new case with the same 324 sc. I wonder if they go bigger or smaller than the existing 38mm case?
By this point, I am fairly certain we will some new Calatrava offerings. 39-40mm case size, precious metal, but with a sportier aesthetic and finishing on the dial and case details. I can also imagine a 5235R with new dial and hands. Cheers!
I suggested the sportier looks for some - not all - new Calatrava references, due to all the talk about PP wanting to guide new customers away from the Nautilus & Aquanaut lines. Following the same logic, PP created the 5524 reference, so now maybe it...
I’m curious to see what they’ll come up with, because Calatrava is probably the line where they can afford less experimentation and there is little room of movement without impacting ‘purity’...for sure, they have already been able to generate a good amou...
