I've just done a Google image search, and note quite a number of wristwatches of the period with the same dial. Maybe these watches were destined for the European and American markets.
Platinum Patek
Just acquired this lovely Patek, made in 1928 and sold in 1929. The buckle that came with the watch is a large 18mm, I wondered if it's period original? Any information would be appreciated. Regards Steve ...

For its age it's a winner. Something to treasure, a heirloom.

Very nice. I saw the Geneva (with A and not E) Switzerland on several pocket watches' dials, but never on a wristwatch's one. Great acquisition!
