Basically, imagine a typical 3939H in RG, yet with enamel black dial / RG hands / minute dripplets etc. Basically, like the Harrods 3923 i had gotten from them brand new in England, yet with black dial and repeater / tourbillon. David J @ H. Stern was helping me with it long ago, yet the owner was asking a bit... asperational (even by today's highly devalued currency pricing).

Think it was around the same time Dufour was doing a souscription for us TZ guys, as i recall.

Ah, those were the fun days waaay back when we all seemed more like family, we knew our AD, his wife, kids... the store's watchmaker... went to sporting events together, picnics.... Guess now is 2026 horology is doing the best ever, but now it is .... (deep sigh with a touch of sadness) business business business
