i did let my AD know the models I'm interested in and this is not high on the preference ranking. having said that, i guess most of us are still in a situation where we don't always get our preferred piece in the desired rank order?

The movement would definitely have fitted in a smaller case and I don't think the legibility on the dial would have been compromised.
it's the dial that captured my attention most. the edge where the cities are indicated is actually shiny which my phone camera couldn't capture.
it's a good looking dial overall with details that i can zoom in & admire close-up
