I don't know about the rest of the world, but MY sentiments about it have evolved.
"Crying shame" was definitely my initial response. I thought it was pretty much total garbage, the sort of watch people were going to look at 30 years down the line and say, "What was Patek thinking???"
I've evolved on it, though. Put away that disgust. Now I think it's nice.

I think this is a very unique PP - modern size - great complication and like nothing else. Still impossible to find at AD I think it’s a winner!
I actually like it a bit more then a couple of years ago. However, i think it is naturally not as nicely finished as a modern Patek otherwise would be.
Pateks case design and finish is usually above, say, JLCs, however, on this one, being a sporty piece, it is just as good. I would have liked it if Patek would have taken a more sophisticated aproach to that casual model as well.
