The Patek Philippe 5004 May be more along the lines of the “Hamburger” watch. The 3970 certainly has some thickness to it, but the 5004 is thicker still. In profile, it really does have that “Hamburger” profile going on. Having (tragically) eaten more than my fair share of
Hamburgers and having seen (though not owned) several of the 5004 model, I know of which I speak!

A dandy actually does not wear watches, I suppose
If then it would be a time only watch but this 3970 in p looks very "light", very likeable without any ostentatious elements. But I might also be completely wrong about dandies and watches …
