I think in general
buying a new Patek perpetual calendar will result in a sharp fall in value if re sold immediately apart from perhaps the new 5320. However, as proven over time and with the earier models, if one keeps the watch for over a decade, it is likely to appreciate in value.
Thinking about adding 5327 perpetual calendar.
I am in Auckland this week. I stopped by the Patek AD to have a look as I always do in every city I travel to. They had a 5327 R for sale. I was wondering what fellow purists think about this watch. I really like the warmth of the cream colored lacquered ...

Just have them change the hands to Breguet style to match the dial and you're all set. It is one of the nicer modern Pateks out there.

Yours is the first wrist I have seen that suits the 5327. This is not a popular reference as many prefer the 5140 and the 3940. The reason being the size is too large and the same movement used in the 37mm 5140 and the 36mm 3940 is used in the 39mm 5327 m...

..you will take a big hit on this unless you buy it at the right price. i see versions of the 5327 in basically every PP AD around the world.

judging solely by the ascetics. The dial exudes so much poetry and elegance.

I just purchased the 5327 G with blue dial and strap and love it- a real modern classic - not sure what all this silliness about 240 Q movement being too small ! It’s a wonderful time piece.
