I think it depends what you're looking for...
Platinum in gray or the new black is more subdued and elegant. I would say it is at home in the office in a suit or while walking the dog in a t-shirt and jeans.
Rose is beautiful as well but a bit more formal and a bit more flashy for lack of a better term.
I own both and love them both. But I tend to wear the plat gray more, as it is more versatile.

I'm a sucker for blue watches , so you know how I vote. Both look great, but the blue dials/strap has more visual warmth and character. -Tim

Can't really comment on the color but regarding the size I think it wears quite large on your wrist. That may be the look you're going for, but to my eye it's much too big.

Maybe it's the camera angle, or a cultural bias, or perhaps even my own hopeless neoclassism, but IMO the watch looks quite large on your wrist. Clearly I'm in the minority it seems, but when did it become fashionable for the lugs to extend to - or even b...
I suggest you ask for

just got a blue plat version of the 5960, but i do like the black dialed rose gold also , it depends a bit on if you gonna make it a daily wearer or more on formal occasions i think !
