I Totally Understand
I “Cleaned House” of my less-than-loved watches a couple of years ago. I am down to three and do not regret the decision in the slightest. Your choice to retain the Patek 2556 is very admirable. That is a classic watch that can be enjoyed ( and read) for decades to come. I can see the day when I am down to a time-only Patek as well as a steel Rolex that can withstand the swimming pool.
I want my life to become more simple as I grow older.

IMO the 5050 has a great design with the retrograde and apertures except that information from the
apertures are very challenging to read 😅

The 2526. Just something so about this Reference. The history of the automated movement inside (Patek’s first), the creamy enamel dial, the case and dial design, the big screw back case. I could on. It’s a bit of a love affair.
It is the Reference that launched me into all the other Pateks.
