Because it is, IN MY OPINION, much more elegant than the VC WT. But the VC is more spohisticated, mechanically speaking. So, would you rate the functionality over the aesthetics? Best, Nicolas.

The VC is larger, more complicated and has an original night/day display. The city of reference is located at 6 o'clock which can be a bit disturbing. Its busy dial can provoke very opposite feelings: you hate it or you love it. The Patek is more simple, ...  

PP 5130 is a cool, very cool feeling watch on the wrist. Has still a touch of the thirties, when it was released first. The current WT with it's "to die for" globe hands has got a very extravagant feature, as foversta very correctly pointed out. The VC co... 

Technically more competent, even accounts for those cities with half hour difference. Look really good too. I PERSONALLY prefer it over the 5130, buts thts just me. Best, Horo
