Patek Philippe

Interesting project Keks

This is not the kind of watches we hear a lot and for me it is an opportunity to learn a little more about the brand's history.

Hence, I find your pros and cons list very educational smile

First, maybe you already read this one but here is a post from SuitbertW about the novelty back in 2006: www.watchprosite.com 1

I don't know these watches in detail but as a more modern watch user, I must say that I have a much significant attraction for the 5565.

This is a new Patek Philippe shape to me and an appealing one with its smooth design and a slighty sporty feeling.

Limited number: from what I understood from a Patek salesperson they never mention the X/300 number when it is a limited edition, on the contrary to other brands.

The 215 is a very nice movement, it is just a little small considering today's standards. As this 5565 is 36mm, this is not a problem to me.

Of course this is only my feeling.

Nice hunt Keks!

Cheers, Mark
